Product development consists of the following steps:

Hardware development:

• Manufacturer independent selection of the optimum cell type in order to fulfill all customer requirements
• Individual modification of cell chemistries (i.e. LiFePO4, Li-ion, LiPo) and battery management (i.e. PCB, protective circuits, communication) to fit sophisticated applications, including charging technology
• Designed for highest level of safety, reliability and a long service life

Software development:

• Host and user interface realization (SMBUS, PMBUS, 1-Wire, I²C, etc.)
• Application specific configuration (safety mechanisms, charging parameters)

Mechanical development:

• State-of-the-art tools for mechanics and industrial design
• Custom housings (softpack, low pressure molding, plastic housings)
• Custom connectors

Environmental laboratories:

• State-of-the-art laboratories for all relevant environmental tests, such as climate, EMC, shock and vibration, etc.

Project Management:

• Control of the project goals: time, costs, quality, etc. by the project manager

Quality Management:

• Development and production controlled by ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
• Approval and certifications for battery packs according to worldwide standards and coordination with approval and licensing authorities
